Description

In November 1980, the Vanier Community Service Centre opened its first office at 6 Beechwood Avenue. At that time, the Centre had only four employees. Today, the Vanier Community Service Center (Vanier CSC) has more than 70 employees and a number of agencies whose offices are located at the CSC Vanier. As a result, services are becoming more accessible to Vanier residents and those of surrounding areas. The Vanier CSC is a non-profit organization. The Centre and its affiliated agencies provide more than 20 health and social service programs to the people of Vanier and surrounding areas. Their services include family oriented activities, counseling and community development, legal advice and assistance, employment services, and food bank programs.
