Description

The Royal is a mental health centre providing psychiatric assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for adults and youth. Their Geriatric Psychiatry Program assesses and treats mental illnesses experienced by adults over age 65. Their interdisciplinary team aims to improve patients’ quality of life so they can reach their highest possible level of recovery. They offer their services on an inpatient, outpatient, basis as well as in the community through their day hospital, long term care outreach and rural outreach programs.They also offer geriatric family support groups. Referral is required for access to the Royal’s services.
