This online Caregiver Guide will give you tips and ideas to help you care for your loved one and yourself. Ottawa Public Health (OPH) adapted the Caregiver Compass with permission from Saint Elizabeth Healthcare. All of the information in this resource is provided for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. The website provides five chapters of information covering caregiving responsibility, the system, taking care of the caregiver, taking care of elderly, and providing care at end-of-life.
