Description
The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County provides a unique community of support for those facing dementia in all its forms. We have been organized by, and for, people living in Ottawa and Renfrew County to meet the specific needs of our friends, family and neighbours facing a diagnosis of dementia – as well as their caregivers, their families and advocates. We support and connect those living with dementia to the people, information and resources that can help them live their best lives possible.
Our team of Dementia Care Coaches offer a variety of services to support your unique needs. Our paramount importance is listening and offering caring supportive counsel in addition to information and education about dementia and the caregiver role. Our DCCs will refer you to relevant available services and help navigate the health and social care system.
